Support us
Every penny you give makes a difference
Our supporters’ generosity plays a vital role in helping us keep the Edinburgh Festival Fringe open and accessible, to give anyone a stage and everyone a seat.
The Fringe Society was founded by artists to nurture and uphold the Fringe's values of inclusivity, experimentation and imagination – it exists to:
- provide support, advice and encouragement to all the amazing artists, producers and venues who create the Fringe each year
- assist audiences by helping to navigate what’s on offer with comprehensive, accurate and up-to-date information and ticketing
- promote this wonderful and unique festival to the rest of the world.
We work year-round to support the Fringe, and couldn’t do it without the enthusiasm of the people of Edinburgh, combined with the longstanding support of our audiences, sponsors and supporters and the goodwill of our Fringe Friends, Patrons, Champions and Benefactors. Join them today and help support the single greatest celebration of arts and culture on the planet.
You can support the Fringe Society in several ways:
- Add a donation to your basket when purchasing tickets or make a one-off donation online.
- Become a Fringe Friend. Fringe Friends pay an annual membership fee which provides vital support for our charitable objectives, in exchange for exclusive benefits such as ticket offers and discounts in the Fringe shop.
- We have several opportunities for companies and organisations who would like to be more involved with the festival, including Sponsorship, Partnerships and Network Friend packages. Please do not hesitate to contact the team [email protected] to discuss how we can tailor experiences to your needs.
- Become a Fringe Patron and receive all the benefits of being a Friend alongside exclusive access to the inner workings of the Society.
- US Supporters can claim tax benefits on donations made through our US donor portal in partnership with the Chapel & York US Foundation, Inc. The Chapel & York Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) with EIN 81-2161937 and all donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
- As a charity, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society can claim Gift Aid on behalf of customers and donors who are UK tax payers. If you agree to Gift Aid your donations, we can reclaim the tax on any qualifying donations made since 5 April 2006 at no extra cost to you. To confirm your Gift Aid status, please complete our Gift Aid Declaration Form.
